Banana Treatment For Hair
Bananas are known for its wonderful taste and effects for health, there are less people knowing that they can provide treatment for hair as well. In cold winter days, most people wash their hair less frequently than other seasons which will easily lead to oily hair with itchy scalp. In such circumstances, eating more vitamin B6-rich foods such as bananas or peanuts can help relieve the itching.
The cause of itching hair is generally because oils increase the secretion of sebaceous glands of the scalp which may be related with the weather. In cold winter days, most people reduce the frequency of hair washing and wearing hats can also increase the chances of oily hair in winter. There are other factors such as a higher level of male hormones in the body or a higher androgen sensitivity can also lead to more oil on the hair. Generally these symptoms do not require medical attention. Actually, there are many reasons of itchy scalp such as fungal infections, climate change, mental stress, unhealthy lifestyle, iron-stained or improper use of shampoo products.
For those who have oily hair, it is recommended for them to guarantee good sleep every day and maintain a stable and positive emotions. Their diet choices should be light options and it is advised to reduce the intake of sweets, greasy fried food and irritant food like pepper and Curry. They should also eat more vegetables and fruits, and focus on foods which are rich in vitamin B6 such as bran, malt, animal liver and kidney, soybean, melon, cabbage, brown rice, eggs, oats, peanuts, walnuts, chicken, fish, sunflower seeds and bananas.
