Herbs For Blood Circulation


Poor circulation is the reason of many diseases and this problem can affect people of different age and sex. In most cases, the symptoms can be greatly relieved by some home remedies in which some herbal medicine will be used. Some effective herbs for promoting blood circulation treatment can be found in the spice box in your kitchen. These herbs include pepper, cinnamon, garlic, ginger and Ginkgo biloba.


Pepper has been used for preparing food for thousands of years and it is considered to have great medicinal value for the human body. Its powder has the functionality keep the health of the heart by removing the extra blood cholesterol. It can be used alone or in combination with other herbs. However, you should be aware of the fact that a large amount use of cinnamon and ginger may cause nausea.

Ginkgo biloba is another great herbal remedy to improve the blood circulation in human body and this herb has been studied for many years by scientists. Recent studies showed that this herb contains constituents which can help dilate blood vessels. This herb also have some blood-thinning properties as well. However, you should pay more attention when using this herb in conjunction with garlic. This is because they both have a tendency to decrease platelet clotting.

Although using herbs to improving blood circulation is a feasible approach, the herbs may seriously interact with some prescription drugs. So you should consult your doctor in prior to using these herbs if you are taking some prescriptions.
