The Truth Of Fried Starchy Foods


Fried starchy foods such as popcorn, chips, chips, cookies, instant noodles, etc are usually very popular in young people because their taste and the convenience. However, when there is a temptation to be delicious, it is usually not that healthy as you think. The main ingredient of potato chips is potato which is a healthy food and is often eaten in our daily life. Depending on the process, potato chips can be divided into two types. The flavor of potato chips comes from the salt, MSG, sugar and other condiments added to the process. In an environment containing a high level of salt, sugar, monosodium glutamate, people’ taste will become less sensitive and it is difficult to taste the original natural food. Because the chips contain a relatively high amount of salt and sugar, it increase the risk of several diseases including kidney disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.

The calories of fried chips is very high. Each 100 grams of chips can generate about 6OO-700 kilocalories which is roughly equivalent to the amount of calories a young woman should take in a meal. It’s easy to get a lot of fried chips in just a few minutes. If you don’t pay attention to the amount of exercise, the excessive calories you take from potato chips will be stored as fat and become the extra weight of your body. As a result, people will suffer a variety of diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, high blood fat, high blood sugar and fatty liver.
